Following the lifting of Covid – 19 restrictions, the Former Players Association (FPA) is in the process of being relaunched, and this presents an ideal opportunity for any of the Club’s former players to meet up, irrespective of the era in which they played.
The meeting will take place at Bloomfield Road on Thursday 30th September. Any former players wishing to attend should arrive at the Club’s Main Reception at 10am, where they will be welcomed by the FPA’s Player Liaison Officer, John Cross. Please note that this is not a fan event.
Complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided, and those attending are encouraged to bring along any memorabilia relating to their own careers or the history of Blackpool Football Club.
On the return of the FPA meetings, John Cross said:
“We are very proud of the history of Blackpool Football Club, and the players who have played their part in it throughout the years.
“We encourage our former players to attend the gathering, as it is an ideal opportunity to meet up with old team mates, as well as players from different eras. We are looking forward to seeing as many former players attend as possible.”
