In their last league game, Blackpool lost 2-0 to Bolton but before that, had been unbeaten in two after beating Salford City and drawing with Walsall.
Blackpool will be keen to get back to winning ways but more importantly, producing a strong performance as the final of the Lancashire FA Pro-Youth Cup approaches.
The Key-Man:
Jake Forshaw is the key-man in the Latics squad. The midfielder has always been a key figure in the Oldham side and has popped up with a couple of goals in recent games. He gives the side some good balance as they like to press high and play attacking football.
Who Comes Out On Top?
In the game back in the winter, Blackpool came out on top, but Oldham haven’t had a bad campaign sitting 10th, four places above bottom of the league but a strong 12 points above bottom club Walsall. Oldham will not be pushovers for John Murphy’s side and because of that, the young Seasiders will have to be on guard, and it won’t be easy for the side. If Blackpool can find what they did against the Latics in November, they’ll be in for a good morning.
Admission:
The game will be played at Chapel Road Training Ground, (Chapel Road, Hollinwood, OL8 4QL) and fans are welcome to attend. So come along and support the lads. Kick-off is 11am.
