Grant Ward, Keshi Anderson and Marvin Ekpiteta spent time at St Nicholas C of E Primary School recently, where they presented pupil Poppy with a BFC gift bag.

Poppy was selected as the winner of a Black History Month competition in November, with her poster design selected by Keshi as the best amongst the entries received.

All the children, many of whom were from the school, created some wonderful posters celebrating significant individuals from history or modern society and we thank them all for the time and effort spent on them.

As St Nicholas C of E was the winning school, pupils from the specific classes also had the opportunity to meet the Blackpool first-team trio for a special Q & A session, which was hosted by Marc Joseph from the Club's Community Trust.

The Club and Trust look forward to running the competition again next year, with hopefully even more entries to judge across Blackpool schools.
