Blackpool face their final home league game of the Sky Bet Championship season this weekend against Millwall.

The two sides have faced off on 51 occasions with the Seasiders winning on 17 occasions, with 17 draws and 17 defeats seeing an identical record heading into Friday night's game at Bloomfield Road.

Both Clubs have also seen a number of players in both Tangerine and the blue of Millwall throughout their career and we've taken a look at four of those to have worn the shirts of both sides.

DJ Campbell

The former Leicester City and QPR striker signed for Blackpool on loan on two seperate occasions, scoring 17 goals over the two spells including a hat-trick in the 2010 Championship play-off semi-final second leg against Nottingham Forest. A permanent move to the Fylde Coast for the Premier League campaign saw the forward continue his goalscoring form netting 13 goals in the top flight before moving to QPR at the end of that season.

Campbell eventually made a permanent switch to Blackburn Rovers before moving to the Den on loan in 2014 where he scored two league goals before moving to Maidenhead United where he retired in 2015. The striker is still fondly remembered at Bloomfield Road for some iconic goals during the top flight promotion era under Ian Holloway.

Dan Ballard

The former Arsenal defender spent four years in and around the first team setup at the Emirates Stadium before making his first loan move away from London to Swindon Town in 2019. Ballard suffered a major setback after suffering a serious injury just a game into his time out on loan which put an end to his season.

That did little to deter his progress as a loan move to Bloomfield Road in 2020 saw him instantly become a key part of Neil Critchley's side as they went on a relentless run to the Sky Bet League One play-off final, eventually defeating Lincoln City at Wembley Stadium. With various suitors in the second tier following that season, Ballard made a loan switch to the Den with Millwall in 2021 where he was similarly a regular feature in the heart of the defence. The centre half now plays for Sunderland having made a permanent move to the Stadium of Light in 2022.

Jason Puncheon

Puncheon was a regular for Southampton before making a loan switch to Millwall in 2010. Five league goals in seven starts showcased the wingers ability in the final third and that attracted Blackpool to bring him to Bloomfield Road for the second half of the Premier League campaign. 11 appearances with six league starts and three goals saw Puncheon become an instant fans favourite during that season before a summer move on loan to QPR.

A Crystal Palace loan switch was eventually made permanent in 2014 where he spent five years at Selhurst Park before a move to Pafos in Cyprus for a three year spell prior to a move to his current Club Anorthosis Famagusta.

Liam Feeney

Feeney made over 50 league appearances for Millwall having signed permanently from Bournemouth in 2011. Five league goals over a three year spell at the Den saw him make the switch to Bolton Wanderers following loan spells with Blackburn Rovers and Bolton. After a further move to Ewood Park and loan spells with Ipswich Town and Cardiff City, Feeney made the move to Bloomfield Road in 2018.

The winger was best known for his partnership with Armand Gnanduillet in Sky Bet League One under Simon Grayson with 17 assists in one league campaign giving Gnanduillet the platform to put in a high scoring season before Feeney made the move to Tranmere Rovers in 2021.
