Blackpool host Rotherham United at Bloomfield Road as they look to make it three wins in a row in Sky Bet League One.
The Seasiders made it back-to-back away wins on Wednesday night as they came from a goal down to beat Shrewsbury Town at Croud Meadow.
Their opponents this weekend also picked up all three points in midweek, beating Lincoln City 2-1 at the AESSEAL New York Stadium.
Opposition In Focus:
Rotherham have had a difficult start to life back in the third tier, winning five of their opening 17 matches with Steve Evans side sitting in 18th place, two points above the drop zone.
The Millers came into the season with real optimism having rehired Evans and brought in 14 new players, but that pre-season promise hasn’t come into fruition yet. Strikers Jonson Clarke-Harris and Sam Nombe have scored half of the whole team’s goals in the league this season.
Tuesday night’s win over Lincoln was the Millers first win since the end of October when they beat Stevenage 2-0. Evans, who left Stevenage at the end of last season, will be hoping to turn it around as he looks to replicate the success he had at the Millers last time, which saw the Club gain back-to-back promotions to the Championship.
