Blackpool host Cambridge United in Sky Bet League One as they look to get their first victory of 2025.

The Seasiders haven’t played since last weekend’s 1-1 draw with Wycombe Wanderers at Adams Park.

Pool’s opponents were beaten for the fifth consecutive league game last weekend, losing 1-0 to Bristol Rovers at the Cledara Abbey Stadium.

Opposition In Focus:

Cambridge United sit in 23rd position in Sky Bet League One after a difficult start to the season.  The U’s didn’t pick up their first win of the season until their 10th league match of the season against Wigan Athletic in October, picking up just one point in their opening nine league games, which was against the Seasiders in a thrilling four all draw at the Abbey.

Manager Garry Monk, has a wealth of experience, having managed in the Championship with four different teams as well as managing Swansea City in the Premier league a decade ago.  Monk’s men have come out of a difficult Christmas period, losing their last five matches in the league, with their last victory coming on the 7th December against fellow strugglers Shrewsbury Town.
