CJ Hamilton was signed for an undisclosed fee from Mansfield Town in the summer of 2020.

The pacey winger, who is eligible to represent the Republic of Ireland, agreed a three-year contract at Bloomfield Road, which contains an option for a further 12 months.  In his debut season in Tangerine, Hamilton featured 26 times and scored five goals to help the Seasiders on their way to promotion at Wembley Stadium.

The wide man signed a new deal in December 2023, keeping him at the club until atleast June 2026 after his brilliant form at the start of the 2023/24 season.  Hamilton finished that season with 12 goal involvements, playing mainly as a wing-back.  

Hamilton, who gained his first cap for Republic of Ireland back in 2022 against Ukraine, had an injury hit 2024/25 campaign but still managed to played 37 times, scoring five goal and providing four assists.
