Jake joined the Blackpool Academy at the age of seven and has featured regularly for the youth team in the 2021/22 campaign. 

Rewarded with a professional contract in February 2022, he scored 30 goals during the season, won the Youth Team's Player of the Season award and made his first-team debut against Peterborough United. He also enjoyed a productive loan spell with Bamber Bridge at the end of the 2021/22 season.

The forward enjoyed a fruitful loan spell at Bradford Park Avenue in the second-half of the 2023/24 season, scoring four times in 12 league appearances for the Green Army.
