Capable of playing at right-back or right wing-back, Kwaku Donkor signed a two-year scholarship at Blackpool in the summer of 2021. 

He linked up with the Club from the Onside Football Academy and made his first-team debut in September 2023 in an EFL Trophy group game against Barrow.

The defender joined Havant and Waterlooville on loan for the second-half of the 2023/24 season after making three substitute appearances for Pool in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy earlier on in the season.

Donkor was loaned out to National League South side Welling United ahead of the 2024/25 season.
