Elliot Embleton rejoined the Seasiders ahead of the 2024/25 season after endearing himself to the Pool fans in his first spell at the club in the 2020/21 campaign.

The midfielder was part of the promotion winning side in 2021, scoring in the play-off semi-final against Oxford United at Bloomfield Road.

Following that loan spell on the Fylde Coast, Embleton returned to his boyhood side Sunderland, where he won promotion to the Championship in 2022.  

Embleton suffered injury problems in the 2023/24 season when on loan at Derby County and is back at Pool to regain the form he showed in his first spell at the club.
