Bio
Grant Ward initially joined Blackpool on an initial 18-month deal plus option for a further 12 months in December 2019, with that option activated in the summer of 2021.
The midfielder, capable of playing out wide or in the centre of the park, came through the academy at Tottenham Hotspur, prior to representing the likes of Rotherham United, Ipswich Town and Coventry City.
His 2021/22 campaign was affected by serious injury, having sustained a ruptured Achilles tendon away at AFC Bournemouth in August.
However, he has now recovered from that injury and signed a new, short-term contract with Blackpool in October 2022.
