Bio
Shayne Lavery joined Blackpool in the summer of 2021 on a two-year contract, with 12-month option, from Northern Irish Premier Division side Linfield FC.
A prolific striker who has been capped for his country, Lavery scored 47 goals in 77 games for Linfield, including 30 in his last season for the Club, helping the team to achieve a league and cup double.
Individually, he also became the first player to be named the Ulster Footballer of the Year and Young Player of the Year in the same season.
On the books of Everton as an academy player, Lavery scored on his Blackpool debut away to Bristol City on the opening day of the 2021/22 campaign.
